Tools: Storyline, Blender, Adobe, Canva, SharePoint

With: Angie Bove (Manager) & Justin Houston (Mentor)

Throughout the summer and fall of 2025, I worked on 3 projects and multiple side projects for other team members at FreshPet. My overarching goal was building 3D models of both FreshPet facilities for employees to walkthrough and learn their evacuation paths during emergencies.

Overview

Build an engaging and interactive e-learning course for FreshPet employees on emergency evacuation procedures. The course should have the employees feel the urgency and importance of learning these procedures.

Goal

Design Thinking

Intro of Evacuation Course: Storyboard & Animation

3D Animated an employee facing a real-scenario in the facility.

3D Maps & Walkthroughs

Built 3D Models of both facilities and animated 200+ walkthroughs.

Prototype of Interactive Activity

  • Employees are dropped into a virtual facility without guided paths.

  • Input obstacles where characters are moving in the opposite direction.

  • Mimics real-world panic, building muscle memory.

I deeply valued my experience at FreshPet, where a wonderful and collaborative team fostered my professional development. With their support and the amazing creative freedom I was given, I not only built new skills but also emerged as a confident designer.
